Music has been a big part of my life for a number of years now. I started playing drums when I was around 11 years old.
I have achieved a Merit in Grade 1 and Grade 3 drums exams from Rock School.
I became very interested in the idea of music production after seeing a talk by Mick Gordon
about his production process for Doom. I was very interested in all the different ways he created music for the game.
I had also enjoyed making sound effects for games I made while in college.
I see music/sound effect production as another route into the games industry for me.
For example, I used programmes like bfxr to create sound effects.
This has been my goal since I started college studing Games Development.
My goal is to have some of my music and/or sound effects used in a commercially released game.
The ultimate goal would be to work as an audio programmer or an audio engineer for a games studio.
My starting point on this journey is to make a number of music/sound effect samples
and contact small indie game studios about them possibly using them in one of their games.
Equipment being used:
* Pro Tools First
* Midi keyboard
